I was sad to hear that one of the greatest cartoonists(ever)has passed away. He was a
huge influence on me when I was a kid, and without those beat up MAD paperbacks that
my brother had lying around his room, I wouldn't be an artist today. He was incredibly inventive and funny. I would stare at each panel that he drew for hours, just soaking in all the background details, and wishing someday I could do what he did. I'm glad I was able to meet him at the San Diego Comic Con a few years back. Rest in Peace Mr. Elder. You will be missed.
